Restaurant Open: Daily, 12.00 - 24.00 March - December

Along the Adriatic Road, on the sea in Zaton Mali, 7 kilometers west of  Dubrovnik sits restaurant Gverovic - Orsan. It is housed in a genuine, ancient orsan (Italian name meaning boat house). Built centuries ago of  rough, hand carved and cut into the hillside like a cave, Orsan was once the private storage place for small pleasure boats of a wealthy Renaissance nobleman.

The Gverovic family snatched it from the teeth of time in order to deliver it to the discerning tastes of those acquainted with gastronomic delights, and transforming it into a temple of excellent repast. The restaurant opend its doors in 1966, and since than it has been known as the place which provides the best quality seafood in Dubrovnik area.More history, mision and vision  of the restaurant find here.

The Gverovic family intended to save the spirit of past times in their restaurant, and they succeeded in that intention. Inside the restaurant one can find half a dozen hand-finished wooden tables, restored artifacts from old ships which were sunk near Dubrovnik one hundred years ago, the sails from old galleys, and very old small piano topped with fresh-cut flowers.

Restaurant Gverovic-Orsan is open from March to December, daily, from 12.00 to 24.00. The restaurant can sit up to 40 persons inside and up to 120 persons outside. The restaurant has its private parking lot, pier (5 meters depth), private beach and the shover.

Gverovic-Orsan's  terrace where you can sit, eat and touch the sea of the beautiful Zaton Bay, pleasant music, delicious food, and reasonable prices will make you remember Gverovic-Orsan forever!
